"Reflect what you want reflected back. Do unto others. Only by changing your own fear into love can this occur. Only if you know beyond a doubt that death is not the end can you transcend this fear, this greed, this clinging to material things. The great mythographer, the late Joseph Campbell, said the most important teaching of Christianity is to love your neighbor. Most of us find this little pill a little hard to swallow sometimes...The Second Coming is not the arrival that fundamentalist and traditional religions are awaiting. Christ consciousness is available to everyone now. It is a resurrection in the heart, not on the cross. And the transition has been made easier in this era. For the first time in many millennia, we do not have to die first before we can move to a higher dimension, if we just ask the spiritual world for help.
Once upon a time, I was too educated, too "intellectual," too "rational" to ask or to believe. Not once, but several times, I was brought to my knees and my childhood faith helped me to learn to believe differently. No I am fortunate enough to see with my eyes that the help is indeed here. Feeling worthy of it is the final crossing."
